Walter A. Roberts III (Andy)

Mr. Roberts joined Fleet One in 2001 as its President and CEO. His expertise in Product development, Marketing and Technology for both the fuel and transaction processing businesses provides Fleet One with the expertise to deliver focused innovative and cost effective solutions to our customers. Prior to joining Fleet One, Mr. Roberts led various businesses in leadership roles. These included Alliance Data Systems, Harmonic Systems and Diamond Shamrock. In these roles, Mr. Roberts was able to assist in delivering real time products that led to improved customer satisfaction, signifcant market share increases, improved profitability and geographic expansion. Diamond Shamrock was spun off as a public company in 1987 and Alliance Data Systems went public in 2001.

Ashli Leonardo joined Fleet One in 2008 as a Business Development Officer and was promoted in 2011 to Factoring Sales Manager. Ashli has extensive experience in the Transportation industry with over ten years experience in fuel, imaging & scanning and finance. She spent over five years with Comdata Corporation as a New Sales Executive before going to Pegasus TransTech Corporation as a National Account Manager for three years. Ashli attended Cumberland University on a softball scholarship and later graduated from MTSU with a Bachelor’s in Business Administration.

Thomas Smeltz is Senior Portfolio Manager and is responsible for the day-to-day activities of the factoring operations. He is a graduate of the University of Colorado – Denver where he earned a Bachelors of Science in Economics. He has over eighteen years of factoring industry experience. Prior to joining Fleet One in 2011 Thomas was the Vice President and Chief Operating Officer for ten years with BeneFactor Funding corp. He also worked for seven years in various roles for Wells Fargo Capital Finance, a division of Wells Fargo Bank, and its predecessor companies, Norwest Business Credit and National Business Finance, Inc. Thomas brings a wide range of factoring operations knowledge to Fleet One’s factoring division.

Michael Sturm joined Fleet One in 2011 as a Chief Credit Officer. He has an extensive knowledge of the factoring industry in both transportation and other sectors.  He previously worked for Bibby Financial Services out of Chicago and Nashville for over six years in various roles as VP of Credit, VP of Sales and most recently VP of Risk. His current position with Fleet One has him over seeing the credit and underwriting department for all new and existing clients. Michael has a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a major in Accounting from St. Louis University.

Patrick Eakins is responsible for selling and implementing new business and developing/managing business referral sources. Patrick holds a Bachelor of Science in Communication from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington. Prior to coming to Fleet One, Patrick served as Assistant Branch Manager for Bank of America and for AmSouth Bank for four years, specializing in consumer and business finance products. Patrick came to Fleet One from Comdata where he spent three years as a Regional Sales Manager for their Factoring Department. Through his experience, Patrick brings to the table extensive knowledge of business finance options/products.

Vicky Hunter is a Factoring Sales Representative for Fleet One responsible for selling and retaining new business.  Prior to joining Fleet One Vicky spent 26 years in the Transportation industry as a Strategic Sales Representative for Comdata Network Inc. as well as a Regional Sales Manager for the Financial Services division.  Vicky brings to Fleet One a vast knowledge of the Transportation and Brokerage industry as well as an eagerness to help develop New Market Strategies.

Jamie Kerr is also a Factoring Sales Representative for Fleet One responsible for selling and implementing new business with prior sales experience of our OTR fuel card product.  Jamie is a 2001 graduate of the University of Tennessee-Knoxville, with a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, specifically in Logistics and Transportation. Jamie joins us from Total Quality Logistics, LLC, a nationwide logistics and brokerage service in Cincinnati, Ohio. There, she was a Senior Account Executive for three years, handling the pick-up and delivery of loads throughout the US and Mexico with a concentration in the produce industry. Jamie holds a Graduate Certificate in Supply Chain Management from Swinburne University of Technology in Melbourne, Australia as well as an undergraduate business studies in Paderno del Grappa, Italy. Jamie brings us vast knowledge of the transportation industry, combined with a global understanding of logistics.
